Satyajit Ray

I shot this portrait of Satyajit Ray in 1989 in Calcutta. THE greatest movie maker in the history of Indian cinema in the midst of a story on the wild and wonderful world of Bollywood. This was like meeting Gandhi at the circus! The great man has since died, but his films remain forever as a monument to his genius.
